2024 MAZDA CX-90 PREVIEW: PERFORMANCE

The Mazda CX-90 will have two distinct options for New Berlin drivers to choose from: a traditional gas engine platform or a plug-in hybrid platform. This will make the Mazda CX-90 the first-ever Mazda plug-in hybrid (PHEV), paving the way for future electric advances in the Mazda lineup.

If a traditional gas engine is more your speed, the 2024 CX-90 offers a 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine with a mild hybrid component, allowing you to save money on fuel even without a full hybrid or plug-in hybrid engine. Here’s what you can expect when you get behind the wheel of the 2024 Mazda CX-90:

  • Up to 340 horsepower
  • Up to 369 lb-ft of torque
  • 8-speed automatic transmission
  • Towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds
  • Standard i-Activ AWD®
  • Kinematic Posture Control for smooth shifting, expert handling, and enhanced corner stability
  • Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive), which includes Normal, Sport, Off-Road, and Towing modes
  • 25 MPG Combined / 56 MPGe (with PHEV option)
