Mazda reworked the powertrain on the 2026 CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid so it now delivers an EPA-estimated 30 miles on an electric charge (up from 26). New trim levels are also available for the 2026 model year. The combined engine and electric motor deliver 323-hp, and AWD is standard.
A digital instrument gauge, an infotainment touchscreen, and a premium 12-speaker audio setup are standard in each CX-70 Plug-In Hybrid. Level 2 home charging is now supported, which lets owners fully recharge in as little as 2.1 hours on 240V. Mazda’s full i-Activesense safety suite is included in every model.
