Does the Mazda MX-5 Miata have a Push-button Start system?

Keys, keys, keys—have you ever looked everywhere for your keys only to find them in your coat pocket during the winter, your pants pocket during the summer, or in your purse underneath everything else? Meanwhile, you are late for work, or late to pick up the kids at school, or late for a date. Your search is frantic, adding stress to your day.

All trims of the Mazda MX-5 Miata use the Push-button Start system. With this system, you only need to have the key within the confines of the vehicle, somewhere between the two doorposts. Then, all you do is push the start button, and the car starts. You do not have any keys hanging, and you do not have to twist the key.

At Frank Boucher Mazda of Racine, we will show you how the push button system works.
