2018 Mazda CX-9 earns high marks for safety

The Mazda CX-9 crossover sports utility vehicle has earned a 2017 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety "Top Safety Pick+" recommendation. It's one of only three vehicles in its class to earn the highest honor. In addition, the CX-9 has been named a finalist for both North American Utility Vehicle of the Year and World Car of the Year. "

All four available trim packages come with city brake support for the first time. This technology will automatically apply the brakes when needed at speeds below 19 mph making it a perfect fit for city driving. Mazda's i-ACTIVENSE suite of safety systems all blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert to its list of safety features.
